Moe.P.A.R.K 2011

moepark 2011 is officially over. i am giving you a full overview right now.

at first, let me say that it totally killed me. i worked for a pretty long time on this, and by the show i  wasn´t even happy with what i had. it was just the deadline that put pressure on me, so i only got an hour of sleep the night before the show [not to mention the whole month]. i was having troubles with the last piece [which looked totally different in my head..], so i got frustrated and just followed my fingers. the brain was turned off. what can i say... i just went on with what i had. maybe it is just the emotion i have this instant, but i feel like i have so much more to learn. so, let me learn step by step. and step number two is taken.

the day
the 6 of us [me, my mom plus 4 of the models] drove off to the place [Paide] at around 7 in the am. not a good idea, but we had to be at runway practise by 8. that went well. we were even given advice by a choreographer that told us to pose, pose, and pose. pose longer than we did at first. that was going to be good for the photographers to do their job, you know. of course, at our turn on stage, i would remind all my models not to forget the posing, and then go on myself and not pose long enough at all. you can tell in the video [scroll down to view].
speaking of the models, i am so very proud of them, as well as thankful to them. not a single bad word to shout out here.
the team had done brilliant job.. everything was run perfectly. the stage kicked butt! seriously. what a nice surface to walk on, haha.

in the dressing room

wedding fever. a collection of random wedding dresses made about 98% of reused materials. i wasn´t following any drafts and pretty much did not know what the whole thing was going to turn out like til the last minute. 6 pieces this time.

the catwalk

i finally have time now. what a relief.
