the christmas season has officially started!
but. i do not think i have seen a winter this sweet before. it has pretty much been snownig like crazy for the whole week and there is l-o-a-d-s of snow everywhere. yes, it is cold, but i can live with it. just give me snow. i also made a snowangel on the roof today. why would i go on the roof? because there was too much snow on it (there really was - the highest top would reach 1 meter), and it would have fallen through the ceiling into our living room. so i had to shovel it off. at least that is what mom said.. weird, i know. but i had fun for an hour.
it was thanksgiving this week, and i really missed my far-away-folks. i made an american style pie in their honor, and was to put up the american flag, but the flagpole was up too high. good excuse, i know.
you can not yet cheer for me for finishing up the first piece of the collection, BUT there is only a tiny bit more to finish up. so.. i am done with it. kind of? speaking of the collection. i have no idea how many projects i am bringing in.. four for sure, but is that enough? is that enough, sandra??? i don´t know. so far i am pretty much in schedule, there seems to be enough time, but only when i work pretty much non-stop. i will see how the journey continues, but one is for sure: it is getting crazy!
another thing that will keep me busy is getting things in order for christmas. gifts and cards to send, this and that to do. oh man.
despite the busyness and shortage of time, i am looking forward to next year. things will change.
