cool things and busy times

i am back in the blogger world! i have been so tired lately.. last week was insane becase we had to get ready for this year´s teachers´ day.

okay, i should start off by saying what the teachers´day actually was all about. my estonian fellas kind of know since it is a tradition here... i am not sure about other countries. i should google... the idea is that each year the senior class can teach the younger students [all the others] for one day [the teachers´ day] and the actual teachers have a day off. well, we had to prepare a program for them to present during first class. then they took off to some field trip or something.

now to the program. i got a bunch of students from our class to take part of a short film/commercial kind of project. what kind of short film? all estonians know the commercial "kumm on seks", right? well, i rewrote it and made my own version of it. the new story is about theachers forgetting to take the student register book witht them when coming to class, and us telling them not to! [they forget pretty often and then run back to the teachers´ room during class to go get it] my dear classmates helped me with the filming and acting part. it turned out pretty cool and everyone liked it. click HERE to see the video on my youtube channel. also, feel free to share and comment!

then there was another longer video where i put clips of students from our school talking about our teachers. i was not able to upload it on youtube due to some prohibition. weird.

me and my deskmate were handicraft teachers. we got 1st, 4th and 5th grade. it was not easy at all. quite difficult, i must say. i think i now know that i do not want to become a teacher. mostlikely. maybe..

by the way, today we were asked to go to the assembly hall for cake! it was for what we had done! galad to hear that even the principal was pleased.

once weekend broke in i went to visit my best friend in Tartu. had not seen her for ages since she now is a college girl. we would just go thrifting and shopping and eating and chatting. a few pictures, perhaps?

i got distracted by those dolls while shopping for food. insane dolls. and a very sleepy face.

went out to eat this time. they said the food would be there in 50 minutes the most. i was very tired from last week so i took a nap.



woke up - still no food. so i decided to play with my cell phone. notice, they already brought us the sliverware.

still no food... this is my not very amused face.

we had been waiting for about an hour. the waitress asked if she could bring us something  for free. we got water..

still no food - make a fool out of yourself!

food - EAT!



now that totally was not worth the 2 hour wait. you heard me - 2 hours! and then they brought us tea for free..



phew, at least i fit somewhere.

 so, yeah.. that was our weekend.

two weeks until fall break and then germany!
