today i worked on some cool projects. i am going to call these DIY ideas, i did not necessarily think of tutorials as i was working on them, but they are inspiration! check it out!
i took this plain and empty cardboard box..
..and dressed it! i need to use boxes or baskets in my closet for all kinds of stuff that need to be out of sight [socks and all that you know]. so i figured i could use old cardboard boxes instead of buying expensive mass production. i am pretty happy with the turnout and i am planning to make more because i need more.
the other project that i took pictures of is these nice pair of summer shorts. but first take a look at what they looked like before. i got them from kohl´s back when i was in port huron. they were reallly skinny jeans. [best picture i could find right now, i am the one in red..]
truth is, i cannot go through the old pictures from the usa times without starting to think of how much i miss them. oh my dear friends..!
back to the topic. i cut the pants short and sewed on the lace. easy!
i don´t know if i will have a chance to wear them this summer because the weather is being a jerk already.
