good times

chat time. you didn´t think that i was only going to post an update on my US fund on 4th of july, did you? happy 4th of july, USA! i ♥ you [everyone knows that!] and of course i put the flag up.

other than that, i have a few old and not so old pictures to share.

a really crappy one taken by my mom at the night of mid-summer´s day. wrong setting, bad light, but i am in it with my sister!

these ones below were taken yesterday at the song festival. it was my first time to go there and it was very cool. the song festival is very estonian and it possibly never ever happens in any other country. the thing is that choirs all over the country get together under the huge arch kind of thing to sing national songs. and there were MANY. the whole festival ground was full of people! i just checked the statistics and they said that all together there were 22239 singers under the big arch! 46000 people gathered to watch the festival yesterday, inclding us! so so cool. it was quite emotional, i didn´t burst into tears though. it was just a great moment. and oh, the whole mass of people did the wave numerous times, it went from the arch to the other side of the festival grounds. now those were what you call waves.

the weather seriously was a beast. the sky was almost clear and the sun was burning like crazy. and we pretty much had to sit still the whole time because the ground was full of people and moving around was impossible. neither was it a good idea to go and take a walk somewhere else. every place was full of people, there were lines for ice cream, toilet and water. did i mention each one was LONG!!?

i now got a nice tan though.

my sister went to the ukraine with her voleyball thing and brought me oreos!!! yessss, i was so happy.most of them are gone by now. but still, oreooooooos! it has been about half a year since i last had them.

i really need to stay inside for a while because my skin hurts from the sun 8(
